The Mindfulness Community of the Quad Cities is composed of men and women inspired to cultivate the art of living their lives more fully in the present moment.
Every Thursday and Friday evening, members meet to practice mindfulness meditation. The meeting includes a guided meditation, walking meditation, silent meditation and discussion time.
 
During the meditation practice time, members enjoy a nurturing, calm, and nonjudgmental environment. No matter what your particular religious affiliation we welcome all. It is free to attend, except you must smile! Consider a free will offering.
 
Although we are not affiliated with the Davenport School of Yoga, they have graciously offered their space for us to use at 421 Brady Street in Davenport on Thursdays and Fridays.   We are grateful for their generosity.

We also offer group meditation with Venerable Somnieng, our warm and smiling Cambodian Buddhist monk, on Sundays at 3 pm at the Satva Meditation Hall, 1918 7th Avenue in Rock Island.
